2024, a Year of elections around the World, with a demand for economic stability in the countries of the South, and disruptive votes in the countries of the North?

While we can rightly say that in Monarchies, the people vote through their financial investments and their redoubled energy for the national economy, through the return of students who left to learn abroad and impatient to participate in the national wealth, and by the return of national enthusiastic expatriates to bring their newly acquired skills, their diverse experiences, and their hard-earned capital, to many huge democracies like India, Indonesia, Bangladesh, and even Iran, the year 2024 will be an important election year.

Already the giant of Latin America that is Argentina with 2.78 million km2 voted on November 19, 2023 and elected President the "stunning" anti-system candidate Javier Milei, in an obvious impulse to break with dozens years of socialist demagoguery which brought the country to the ground, crushed by debt, and rotten by intellectual and financial corruption.

Already the giant of biodiversity that is Madagascar, with on its island of 587,000 km2 nearly 80% of the flora and fauna present only on its territory, endemic, re-elected on December 1, 2023 for a second term the President Andry Rajoelina, with a strong desire for stability for economic development, while 75% of the population lives on less than $1.90 per day.

Already the Arab giant that is Egypt with 109 million inhabitants voted on December 17, 2023 and re-elected President Abdel Fattah Al-Sissi for a third term, in a legitimate desire for economic stability and peace while the conflict Hamas – Israel takes place on its borders of Sinai.

Already the giant in the center of Africa that is the Democratic Republic of Congo with 102 million inhabitants has voted and re-elected President Félix Tshisekedi on December 31, 2023 for a second term, in an obvious desire for economic stability and reconquest territorial in the East of the country victim of foreign intrusions.

After the Covid-19 successive waves which destabilized the networks of the globalized economy. After Russia's aggression against Ukraine in February 2022 which led to a disastrous increase in energy and food prices in many countries of the "Global South". After the collapse of the national currency against the dollar and the Euro in many countries, such as Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Lebanon, Egypt, Turkey, Iran, and even Russia, and perhaps soon be in China due to its current economic difficulties. While inflation broke records in 2023 in Venezuela, Lebanon, Syria, Argentina, Sudan, Iran, Cuba, and hit the huge Muslim countries which will have elections in 2024, such as Pakistan with 27.4%, Bangladesh with 9.6%, Indonesia with 2.86%, and Uzbekistan with 9%

In the succession of elections in 2024, we must consider a strong demand for stability from the people of the South. On the contrary, confirming the election on November 22, 2023 of the far-right leader Geert Wilders in the however civilized Netherlands, like the success of Giorgia Meloni in Italy on September 26, 2022, the European elections in June will show a more disruptive desire of the peoples of Europe for bigger security in the face of migratory flows, and for rearmament in the face of the wars at its gates. As for the American presidential election of November 2024, it is even more than before a “historic game changer”, worthy of Hollywood, which will put the entire planet under tension.
